Ostblock Cooperative - O.B.C. is a collective of three musician friends sharing their passion for deepgroove and influences rooted in african american music styles such as Jazz, Gospel, Hip Hop, Funkand electronic music. The intention of this Band is to create their unique voice by mixing theirindividual musical influences as well as their experiences growing up in east european countries whilebeing drawn to african american culture from young age into their original compositions andarrangements of jazz standards. Their common passion for Jazz and improvised music united themduring their Jazz Studies in Austria where they started to create their vision of a sound they arestriving for in order to make the audience enjoy the music and being part of the joy that they sharetogether while playing. Electric sounds combined with „break ya neck“ grooves and improvisation are guaranteed!
